This weekend we did a lot of playing - inside, outside, you name it. At the end of one of our little play sessions outside, Cooper came in with a red face and his hair completely soaked with sweat. So what did we do to him? Gave him some spiky, sweaty hair, what else!
Cooper also loves to color. Take a look. He even holds it correctly! (in his left hand....Calm down Papa Bruce and Dad - we aren't certain he can be your left handed pitcher just yet.)
And what is he doing here you may ask? Showing you his teeth silly!

My boy continued...
Please read previous post before this one. Maybe I put too many pictures in one post - it wouldn't let me post any more. So do I stop posting - no, no, no, just do another post! This was tonight after dinner, so please excuse the shirt. The applesauce went everywhere, but mainly on the shirt. Even so, isn't he cute? Look at that face. Melts my heart! He was very busy watching his favorite show, The Fresh Beat Band.
And to end it all, a guessing game...is this Cooper? is it Eddie? Seriously scary how similar they look right?

That's my boy
My boy - he's so smart, funny, kind, sweet, crazy, wild, and oh so lovable. I have so much to share that I get sidetracked and just want to soak it all in - so I post nothing. However, during a conversation at work I was reminded that one day my boy will grow up and he won't want to hug me, give me a kiss, or even be seen with me (unless he needs something). It made me sad. He is my boy - always and forever. I hope I always remember this sweet face and how at night he tells me, "Nigh Nigh Mama. I lub yewww." So instead of getting sidetracked - I will post pictures of my boy...
Why play with only one club?
What's he doing you ask? Playing "goss" of course.
Oh here? Teeing up the ball silly...(no neither of us told him or asked him to do this. He thought of it all on his own - please reread first line - smart boy I tell you.)
What's this on your hand Cooper? What happened?
Oh of course - why wouldn't you have ink from AN INK PAD all over your hand? (again reread first line - crazy folks)
Oh now you are bored with the ink pad so why don't you just sit in your seat and snap your self in?
Oh can't get it snapped when you are sitting in it, so hop down and try.

Coop
Just a warning this is going to be rambling post with no pictures (GASP!). Lots of little things I want to write down so that when I look back when Cooper is 10 and doesn't want to hang out with his mom, I can just look back at this and remember...
1. Cooper - you have lots of nicknames: Coop, Per, Coopie pie, Coo Coo, Bear - what will you be called later on?
2. I love the way when you wake up you stay in your bed getting used to the morning - then when I walk in to get you up you have a smile that brightens the whole room.
3. I hope you stay as sweet as you are now. You love to hand us things now and say "thank yewww" Or when you really want something you will say "pease" before I even have to say "What do you say?" When I pick you up from school I always ask your teachers if you had a good day. Today they said, "Oh yes Cooper had a great day - Cooper always has a great day!" Sweet boy.
4. I love it each night after we read your story and then your bible story then we say our prayers I say to you who do you call? And you look at me and smile and whisper "Da Da". I say to you, You better say it louder so he can hear you, and you whisper again "Da Da". Then you will get all excited when you hear your Daddy's footsteps and start to yell "DA DA"! And as soon as you see his face peek around the corner you get so excited and leap into his arms.
5. You love golf clubs - or as you like to say it "goss clubs". (how do you get a "s" sound from an "f"?) You could stay outside for hours just trying to swing those clubs.
Like I said random post with no pictures - it was all for me!
