Dear Cooper,
As I write this you are sleeping soundly in your crib after a fun filled birthday. We started with presents then a birthday party at school and then a party at home with your favorite dinner (chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and corn). When you are asked if you are a baby or a big boy you still respond "Baby!". And you are right, you are our baby and will always be.
I remember the day you were born so vividly. The anticipation, the nerves, the fear. But most of all I remember that first cry. I was so worried something was wrong that I yelled at your dad to go and check to make sure you were ok. And he brought you back to me to meet for the very first time. It's quite unbelievable that it has been 2 years since that moment. We have learned so much in these two years - how little of patience I have (and you too really)and how much you really can love someone. Cooper you are the greatest thing to ever happen to us. You challenge us constantly, but when we see all the things you can now do it is all worth it.
So what are you up to these days?
You are starting to dribble a basketball.
You love to shoot baskets, throw the football, play golf and really just run and jump around.
You love lollipops, spiderman snacks, cupcakes and apple juice.
You are throwing more and more fits - just proving that your really are 2 years old.
You love your classroom and your teachers.
You are talking up a storm and love for people to talk to you.
All in all you are a fabulous 2 year old little boy!
We love you!
Mommy and Daddy
